Who is Santiago Arroyo “GoG”?
Santiago Arroyo “GoG” is a professional metal and rock drummer born in Madrid in 1980. He started playing at 14, is self-taught and complemented his training with music theory and solfège studies. In 1998 he joined INANIA REGNA and, during the early 2000s, worked as a live drummer for several bands and orchestras across Spain. He is a founding member of BURIALITY, plays live as a session drummer for UNDEAD, and was the drummer of HOLYCIDE (2022 to October 2025) and AVULSED (2023 to October 2025), with whom he recorded the album “Phoenix Cryptobiosis” and performed at festivals such as Brutal Assault, Alcatraz, Party.San and SWR Barroselas. He has been an official MAPEX endorser since 2023 and a brand ambassador for UFIP Cymbals and BALBEX Sticks since 2025. He is available as a session drummer for recordings, concerts and tours, and also offers MIDI drum editing. He has no connection with the video game platform GOG.com.

About Me
Santiago Arroyo (GoG) was born in Madrid in 1980. His musical journey began at the age of 14, playing in various Metal and Rock groups.
He developed his musical skills as a self-taught musician, though he also complemented his learning with music theory and solfeggio studies. In 1998, he joined the band Inania Regna, where he gained live performance experience, playing shows alongside international acts.
In the early 2000s, he worked as a live session drummer for various bands and orchestras, performing at a national level.
Currently, Santiago Arroyo is a member of several musical projects with published works through record labels. With these projects, he has toured and performed in various countries (including the Czech Republic, United States, Germany, etc), in addition to participating in studio recordings and music video productions.
His brand endorsements include:
- 2023: Became a MAPEX DRUMS endorser.
- 2025: Joined as brand ambassador for UFIP Cymbals and BALBEX STICKS.
He has performed as a musician at international festivals including: 70,000 Tons, Brutal Assault, Party.San, Obscene Extreme, Alcatraz, Rock Imperium, and SWR Barroselas.
