Santi Arroyo GoG performing live on stage as professional metal drummer

Session Drums Services

What does a session drummer do?

A session drummer is a professional musician who plays drums for someone else's project without being a permanent band member: recording the drum tracks of an album, covering concerts and tours, or standing in for another drummer. Santiago Arroyo “GoG” has worked as a session drummer since the early 2000s, when he started playing live for bands and orchestras across Spain. Today he offers drum recording, remotely or in a studio in Madrid, MIDI drum editing and programming, a drummer for concerts and festivals, and a drummer for national and international tours. He works with two Mapex drum setups, with one or two bass drums, with or without click track, sequences and triggers, depending on what each project needs. For a ten-song repertoire, the average preparation time is around two months. The quote is agreed before starting, with a fixed price and clear delivery times.
